Jacob Oka has been named to the 2025-26 Empire 8 Men's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team.
The selection serves as the crowning achievement of a standout playoff run for the Baldwin, NY native, who was recently honored as an Empire 8 Second-Team All-Conference selection.
The versatile senior guard/forward was the engine behind Brockport's run to the finals. Over a three-game playoff stretch, he played 97 minutes, averaging 15.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. His ability to impact every column of the stat sheet proved vital as the Golden Eagles battled their way through the tournament bracket to earn a runner-up finish.
Throughout his final season in the Green and Gold, Oka has served as the undisputed heartbeat of the roster, concluding the campaign as the team leader in three major statistical categories with 13.0 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 2.0 SPG. His efficiency and defensive prowess remained his hallmarks until the final buzzer, as he shot a clinical 46.2% from the floor while consistently disrupting opponents' backcourts to rank fourth in the Empire 8 for steals during conference play. With an All-Tournament and All-Conference nod, Oka provides a veteran blueprint for the future of the Golden Eagles.
