Brockport, NY- The Brockport hockey team will face off with #4 Geneseo in a pair of UCHC matchups this weekend. The Golden Eagles will head to Geneseo on Friday, November 15
th at 7 p.m. before hosting the Knights on Saturday, November 23
rd at 4 p.m.

Last Outing: Brockport dropped Saturday's home opener against #3 Utica, 5-1, on November 16
th. The Golden Eagles fell to 0-4-2 overall and 0-4 in UCHC play to begin the season.

Cole Hudson started between the pipes for Brockport, totaling 30 saves on the day across 60 minutes of action.

Chase Maxwell led Brockport in the faceoff circle, winning 10 of 19 draws.

Kaleb Miller led Brockport in the shots department, launching three shots on goal.

Leading the Charge: Through Brockport's first six outings, sophomores
Spencer Flansburg and
Jacob Gates have paced the Golden Eagle offense. Flansburg leads the squad with 5 points on the season, posting multi-point efforts against Misericordia (1G, 1A), and Manhattanville (2A). Gates has provided a much-needed offensive spark from the defensemen spot, currently second on the team with four points. Gates netted goals against Utica and Manhattanville (1G, 1A).

Staying Positive: Following a less-than-ideal start, three Golden Eagles hold positive +/- to begin the season. Captains
Mitchell Haight (+2) and
Michael Meredith (+1) have led by example, as well as freshman
Sacha Trudel (+2) who has two assists on the season.

Scouting Geneseo: The #4 ranked Knights sit at 5-0 on the season, most recently defeating Manhattanville, 2-1, at home last Saturday. Geneseo finished 21-6 overall last year, with their season coming to an end in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
