Rochester, NY- The Brockport outdoor track team wrapped up competition at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational on Sunday, April 7
th. Both the men's (96 points) and women's (91.5 points) teams finished 4
th overall in team scoring.

Julianne Wilson finished 9
th in the women's steeplechase, crossing the finish line in 11:47.39.

Connor Couperus snagged 3 points with his 6
th place finish in the men's steeplechase, finishing in 10:25.32.

Kerry Flower earned a point for the women's team in the 1500m, finishing 8
th with a 4:49.88 mark.

Jared Smith (6
th, 3 points) and Thomas Kressly (7
th, 2 points) finished close in the men's 1500m, crossing the finish in 3:57.56 and 3:57.72 respectably.

Michael Durski was strong in the men's 400m, finishing 5
th overall in 49.93, scoring 4 points for the Green and Gold. Durski would add a 3
rd place finish in the men's 200m, finishing in 22.55 for 6 points.

Craig Duffy brought home the win in the men's 100m, finishing in 11 seconds flat to score 10 points. Duffy would be victorious again in the men's 200m, posting a quick 22.07 mark for 10 more team points.

Vanessa Ramos earned 2 team points with her 7
th-place finish in the women's 800m (2:25.80). Â

Sarah Crockett rolled to a win in the women's shot put, recording a long throw of 12.9m for 10 team points.

Lily Rexford posted a strong performance in the women's 400m hurdles, finishing 4
th with her 1:08.15 mark.

Rebecca Heuler led the Golden Eagles in the women's discus throw, recording a long throw of 37.46m for a 2
nd place finish and 8 points.

Matt Muscolo earned 6
th overall in the men's discus throw, earning 3 points with his 39.99m long mark.

Alex Rood took the bronze in the men's shot put, snagging 6 points with a 14.96m.

Tess Eichner earned a third-place finish of her own in the women's pole vault, earning 5.5 points for Brockport (3.31m).

Daniel Reinhart (2nd, 4.31m), Gabe Giannini (4
th, 4.16m), and Corey Suhr (8
th, 4.16m) all scored for Brockport, combining for 12 points. Giannini would add a 5
th-place finish in the men's high jump (1.91m, 4 points).

rd, 1.48m) cracked the top 3 in the women's high jump, scoring 14 points for the Green and Gold.

th, 42.40m) close behind.

Rebecca Heuler would earn a victory in the women's javelin throw, posting the longest mark of the day at 39.34m, and scoring 10 points.
