Brockport, NY – Currently owning an overall record of 4-2, the SUNY Brockport volleyball team is on the road this weekend at the U of R Invitational. The Golden Eagles will face Amherst College on Friday (7pm), with matchups against U of R (11am) and Buffalo State (3pm) on Saturday.

At RIT: Last weekend the squad competed at the RIT Invitational. Brockport went 2-1 in the 3-match slate in Rochester, earning wins against Hamilton College and Buffalo State. Both victories came in five sets, with the one loss of the weekend against Springfield being a 3-0 final score.
Offensive Leaders: Alexis Sison and
Alenna Williamson currently lead the Green and Gold on the offensive side of the action. Sison is first on the team with 65 kills, while Williamson is close behind with 61.
Anna Cascapera has made an impact with 36 kills and a team-high 12 service aces.
Setting the Table: Kaitlyn Jewett and
Lauryn Forand have rotated in the lineup as the setters on the floor. Jewett leads the way with 147 assists so far this season. Forand has registered 74 assists and has 10 aces while on the serve.
Defensive Work: Libero
Elsie Logan is closing in on the century mark already for digs, coming up with 97 digs through the first six matches. Sison has 66 digs and Jewett has 53 digs to fill out the top three on the team. The trio of

Alenna Williamson, and
Maddy Howell all have 10 or more total blocks. Emke leads the way with 15 blocks (1 solo, 14 assisted), Williamson has 12 so far (3 solo, 9 assisted), and Howell has 10 total (all assisted).
Up Next: Next weekend the Golden Eagles will travel for yet another weekend of invitational style action. They head to the Oswego State Invitational to face Morrisville on Friday (5pm), as well as Canton (2pm) and Penn Sate Behrend (4pm) on Saturday.
