th at 5 p.m. against the University of Rochester.

Last Weekend: Brockport posted a 2-0 record to begin the season in Meadville, PA, defeating Juniata College 2-1 in double overtime on Saturday and taking down Allegheny 4-0 on Sunday.

Ella Buchanan (1-0) picked up the win in an excellent effort, making 13 stops and allowing just one goal across 71:52 of action.

Kalena Eaton had herself a big day, scoring three points(1G, 1A), with three shots on goal.

Coming in Hot: With 3 goals in her first 2 games, senior
Kelsey Zehr has powered the Brockport offense to begin the season. Zehr provided the game-winning goal in both games, including the 2OT winner against Juniata. Just two games into the season, Zehr has already matched her scoring production from the 2023 season.

Between the Pipes: Posting a 2-0 record with 13 saves over the weekend,
Ella Buchanan started her season strong, earning multiple weekly awards. Buchanan was named Empire 8 Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week, in addition to earning national recognition as the NFHCA Division III National Defensive Player of the Week. Buchanan finished the weekend with a stellar 0.929 SV% and 0.46 goals allowed average.

Scouting Rochester: The Yellowjackets started the season strong with a 4-1 win over Hartwick, coming off a successful 14-7 2023 season. The Golden Eagles are looking to secure their first win over the Yellowjackets since the 2008 season.
