BROCKPORT, NY- The Brockport Field hockey team will wrap up conference play at St. John Fisher on Wednesday, October 29th, at 4 pm.
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles punched their ticket to the Empire 8 Tournament with a 2-1 win over Utica on Saturday, October 25th. The Green and Gold improved to 8-8 overall and 5-4 in conference play following the victory.
Freshman
Elise Brady continued her excellent season, notching two clutch goals to pace the Brockport offense in the win. Brady now leads the Green and Gold with eight goals on the season.
Katelynn Banning (W, 3-4) provided her best outing of the season, making eight saves with just one goal allowed.
Cassidy Pado and
Terralyn McLaughlin each provided an assist on the afternoon.
Postseason Scenarios: The Golden Eagles have clinched an Empire 8 postseason berth, currently holding sixth place. Brockport would move up to the No. 5 seed with a win over St. John Fisher on Wednesday.

Elise Brady has been red hot down the stretch for the Green and Gold. The freshman from Orchard Park, NY, has racked up nine points (4G, 1A) across her last four outings, recording a shot on goal or better in six of her last eight games.
Scouting St. John Fisher: The Cardinals currently hold the #4 seed in the Empire 8 standings, posting a 6-3 record in conference play. Brockport will look to defeat St. John Fisher for the first time since the 20212 season.
