Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's basketball team will host Geneseo for Play4Kay on Tuesday, February 18
th, at 7:30 p.m.

Play4Kay: Tuesday night is the annual Play4Kay game for the Golden Eagles, as they are one of many teams around the country participating in the yearly fundraiser. Started by Hall of Fame Coach Kay Yow from NC State, she began Play4Kay to bring communities together and honor cancer warriors in the fight against ALL cancers affecting women.

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles defeated Houghton in a 107-105 shootout on the road on Saturday, February 15
th. Brockport improved to 15-9 overall and 13-2 in Empire 8 play following the win.

Mekhi Beckett stood out for Brockport with a team-high 26 points, shooting 9-for-13 from the field and an impressive 4-for-5 from beyond the arc. He also recorded one block and one steal.Â
Zachary Rice contributed 16 points while leading the team in steals with two and adding nine rebounds, with a 7-for-14 shooting performance, including 2-for-5 from three-point range.Â
Jacob Oka added 23 points on 10-for-12 shooting and tied for the team lead in rebounds with nine while also recording two steals.Â
Jakhi Lucas was a key playmaker, notching six assists, scoring 17 points, and securing four steals.Â
Postseason Outlook: The Golden Eagles have clinched the Empire 8 regular season title and home court advantage throughout the Empire 8 tournament. Brockport clinched the regular season title thanks to favorable results around the E8 last Friday. Â

Scoring Depth: Led by
Mekhi Beckett's 13 PPG, the Golden Eagles rotation features several capable scorers, with three players averaging double-digit scoring.
Zachary Rice (10.8) and
Tony Arnold (10.3) make up the double-digit scorers for Brockport, with
Alex Tavarez (9 PPG),
Nathaniel Gordon (8.1 PPG),
Jacob Oka (7.7 PPG), and

Scouting Geneseo: Geneseo currently sits in 8
th in the Empire 8 with a 6-9 record in E8 play (9-15 overall). Brockport scored a 67-55 win over Geneseo on the road back on January 28
th and has won the last three head-to-head matchups.
