Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team will be at home Friday night for the final dual of the season to celebrate Senior Night. Brockport will host Cornell for a 7pm start at the Tuttle North Gymnastics Center.

Senior Night: It will be Senior Night on Friday for the Golden Eagles. Following the meet the team will take time to recognize and honor this year's group of seniors. Brockport will recognize fifth-years
Marina DelVecchio and
Maren Eramo, before celebrating
Miranda LaRobardiere,
Maya Pecoraro,
Becca Ring,
Laken Sooy,
Olivia Stinnette, and
Aladiana Tosado.
Last Time Out: team picked up another dual victory on Friday night against Utica, 193.100-185.025. The Golden Eagles improved to 9-3 on the season after the victory.
The vault squad got the meet started with a 47.675 total in the first rotation.
Maren Eramo led the way with a 9.775, taking first place in the event.
Kiara Hockman placed second on the vault with her 9.725. Brockport also received scores of 9.425 from
Lienna Kay, 9.400 from
Emma Langdon, as well as 9.350 from
Gracie Weaver and
Shannon Gibbs.
Brockport upped the ante in the second rotation with a 48.075 on the uneven bars. The bars team claimed the top five spots on the event for the day.
Aladiana Tosado and
Emma Brookins tied for first with a 9.675.
Maren Eramo was third with a 9.625,
Lienna Kay took fourth with a 9.600, and
Charlotte Raymond tied for fifth with a 9.500.
In the third rotation, the Golden Eagle improved upon the last two rounds with their showing on the beam. The group earned a total of 48.500, this time earning the top four scores for the event.
Lienna Kay led the way with her 9.825 on the beam, claiming first place for the event on Friday night.
Amelia York's 9.750 was good for second place,
Emma Brookins took third with a 9.675, and
Kiara Hockman placed fourth with a 9.650.
Alexis Schulman just missed out on a top five finish, coming in at sixth with a 9.600.
The final rotation saw the Green and Gold put on the best performance of the meet on the floor exercise. Brockport totaled 48.850 points on the floor to secure the winning total of 193.100 on the night.
Kiara Hockman shined once again with her floor routine, earning a 9.875 to win the event.
Emma Brookins earned a 9.800 for second place on the floor. Brockport's top five scoring was rounded out by
Aladiana Tosado's 9.775,
Claire Wood's 9.725, and
Cali Czarcinski's 9.675.
Home for Regionals: Brockport is slated to host the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association East Regional on Saturday, March 8
th at 1pm. The Golden Eagles will be seeking their fifth straight NCGA East Regional Championship, competing in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium.
