After an excellent weekend at the plate, Graduate Student Jason Story was named the Empire 8 Conference Baseball Player of the Week as the Golden Eagles moved to 7-0 in Ohio against Wooster. Story went 5-for-8 at the plate, posting two home runs, eight RBIs, and seven runs scored.

In game one against Wooster, he went 1-for-4 with three RBIs and a homer as the Golden Eagles defeated Wooster 11-5.  In game two against Wooster, Story provided his best outing of the season, going 4-for-4 with five runs, and five RBIs while adding another home run.  

Starting all seven games for Brockport, Story has slashed an excellent .367/.412/.933 with a team-high 18 RBIs and four home runs.

The Golden Eagles are now 7-0 and will travel to Florida on Friday to take on Immaculata University to begin the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. The first pitch of Friday's contest is scheduled for 6:15 pm.
