Outdoor T&F Show Out at St. John Fisher

Brockport, NY – The outdoor men's and women's track and field teams traveled to St. John Fisher today for the last meet before the E8 championships and posted strong results. 

Men's Team: 

The 4x100 team consisting of Kevin Brown, Michael Durski, Alejandro Roberts, and Derek Grimshaw started the day with an impressive first place finish with a time of 41.99 seconds which is
also sixth all time in Brockport. 

Logan Iverson finished up in foruth place in the 3000m steeplechase at a mark of 10:21.11. 

Gabriel Giannini showed out in the long jump with first place spot from a 6.95 meter leap. 

In the 400m race, Michael Durski clinched a third place spot crossing the line at just 49.37 seconds. 

In the 800m, Owen Arbocus took second place taking third all time in Brockport and Jonathan Zavala finished in third at a time of 1:54.73. 

In the 200m sprint, Bryce Roberts finished up in fourth place at a time of 22.27 seconds. 

In the 400m hurdles, Ayden Grinion took second at a time of 55.32 seconds, Jeremy Chen finished in third at 55.50 seconds, and Timothy Smith took fourth at 55.84 seconds. 
 

Women's Team: 

Alexis Rodriguez, Marissa Wise, Lily Rexford, and Courtney Bostic started strong in the 4x100 meter relay finishing in fourth at a mark of 49.43 seconds. 

Rebecca Heuler had a dominating throw of 38.33 meters in the javelin, good for a first place spot. 

In the 1500m race, Jaylah Cossin clinched third at 4:46.80. 

Michaela Levesque had a fifth place finish in the high jump clearing the pole at 1.49.

Sarina Johnson also had a fifth-place finish in the 400m race at a quick mark of 1:01.33. 

Taking third in the triple jump was Sasha Schramm from a 10.58 meter jump into the pit. 

In the 800m, Mia Vizcaino had a quick time of 2:19.97 good for a fifth place spot on the board. 

Finishing the day in the 400m was Marissa Wise crossing the line at 1:03.95 good for fourth place. 

Up Next – The Golden Eagles are set to host the Empire 8 Championships next weekend on Friday, May 2ndat 1:30pm and Saturday, May 3rd at 10am.
