Brockport, NY- On Thursday, July 15
th, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced the recipients of the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, recognizing classroom achievement of men's college basketball players.
Colby Jordan was named to the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court for his academic excellence, one of over 2,400 athletes selected nationwide.
The NABC Honors Court consists of junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.Â
A recipient of the SUNYAC Elite 20 Award in 2023, Jordan has embodied the qualities of an ideal student-athlete, thriving both on and off the hardwood since his freshman year in 2021. Jordan earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management with minors in Business Administration and Marketing last spring. Â
A staple of Brockport basketball, Jordan has appeared in 77 games for the Golden Eagles, starting in 46 of them across his career. Known for his defensive prowess, Jordan posted a steal or better in 43 outings, finishing with career totals of 66 steals, 314 points, and 210 rebounds. Across three seasons, Jordan has logged over 1,480Â minutes on the hardwood for the Green and Gold.
