Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team will be home on Sunday for Senior Day, as Brockport hosts Utica University for a dual meet. The action is set to begin at 2pm in the Tuttle North Gymnastics Center.

Senior Class: It will be Senior Day for the Golden Eagles this weekend in Brockport. Following the end of competition, but before the announcements of official results, a short ceremony will be held to celebrate this year's seniors. On Sunday, Brockport will honor and recognize
Cali Czarcinski,
Gracie Weaver, and
Claire Wood.
Last Time Out: At the Empire State Collegiate Championship, the Golden Eagle gymnastics squad placed third out of six teams with a final score of 192.000. Brockport trailed only Long Island University (194.750) and Cornell University (192.850) at the meet, hosted by Cortland.
Brockport's highlight of the day was the floor group's performance, posting a season-high 49.150. Hitting a 9.875,
Kiara Hockman tied for first place in the event.
Claire Wood,
Kayla Gleason, and
Jamarie Saravia all posted a 9.825 for their routines.
Cali Czarcinski finished off the scoring with a 9.800 to round out a great effort on the floor.
The vault squad had a good day as well, earning a score of 48.275 in the event. Once again it was
Kiara Hockman who provided Brockport's top score, tying for third on the vault with a 9.775.
Shannon Gibbs and
Lienna Kay both added a 9.675 to the tally.
Emma Langdon earned a 9.600 and
Jamarie Saravia's 9.550 completed the result on the vault.
On the uneven parallel bars, the Golden Eagles totaled a 47.325 with their routines.
Celina Satter shined brightest in the event for Brockport with her 9.625.
Alexis Schulman hit a 9.550, while
Emma Brookins was close behind with a 9.500.
Jamarie Saravia earned a 9.475. The scoring was finalized by
Lienna Kay's 9.175.
Looking at the balance beam, the team would score 47.250 for the event.
Lienna Kay led the way with a 9.725.
Kayla Gleason scored a 9.700 and
Alexis Schulman came back with a 9.650.
Amelia York was given a 9.125 and
Kiara Hockman posted a 9.050 to round out the scoring on the beam.
Back Home Next Weekend: The Golden Eagles will welcome Greenville University to the Tuttle North Gymnastics Center next weekend for the final dual meet of the year to conclude the regular season. The meet is scheduled for a 12pm start on Saturday, February 28
th.
