Brockport, NY – The Brockport gymnastics team will host Greenville University on Saturday at 12pm for the final dual meet of the season. The action will take place at the Tuttle North Gymnastics Center, as the Golden Eagles get one more go around ahead of regionals.

Last Time Out: The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team picked up another dual win at home on Sunday to celebrate Senior Day, beating out Utica University 191.275-185.425. Brockport is now 5-4 on the season in duals with one more left on the schedule.
Starting the meet off on the vault, Brockport put together a score of 47.900. The day's event winner,
Kiara Hockman led the effort with a 9.825 on the vault.
Shannon Gibbs came up big with a 9.725 for second place in the event. The lineup also saw both Jamarie Sarvia and
Lienna Kay hit a 9.475, while
Maria Pell and
Emma Langdon both hit a 9.400.
The second rotation put the Golden Eagles on the uneven bars for a total of 47.425. Brockport dominated the final scoring, earning the top five scores for the event.
Emma Brookins placed first with a 9.600.
Lienna Kay's 9.575 was second on the bars, while
Charlotte Raymond was third with a 9.450.
Alexis Schulman placed fourth with her score of 9.425 and
Celina Satter's 9.375 was good for fifth.
On the balance beam in the third rotation, Brockport scored a 47.075 on the third event of the afternoon. Winning her second event of the meet,
Kiara Hockman placed first on the beam with a 9.725.
Lienna Kay was second on the beam at the meet with her 9.625.
Alexis Schulman added a 9.400,
Alyssa Strain posted a 9.225, and
Kayla Gleason scored a 9.100.
The best event total of the day for Brockport was on the floor, as the lineup scored a 48.875. Winning her third event of the afternoon,
Kiara Hockman posted a 9.825 to lead Brockport on the floor. Teammates
Emma Brookins and
Kayla Gleason shined as well, each scoring a 9.800.
Jamarie Saravia added a 9.750, while both
Cali Czarcinski and
Claire Wood both hit a 9.700.
Hockman Does it Again: For the third time this season,
Kiara Hockman of the Brockport gymnastics team was named the NCGA East Specialist Gymnast of the Week. In Brockport's home dual against Utica, Kiara was the event winner for the vault, beam, and floor. She had a big day for the Golden Eagles with a 9.825 on the vault, a 9.725 on the beam, and a 9.825 on the floor.
Up Next: The Golden Eagles will begin preparations to defend their NCGA East Regional Title next weekend. On Saturday, March 7
th, Brockport will head to Rhode Island College to look for a sixth straight NCGA East Regional Championship. The meet is set for a 1pm start out in Providence, RI.
