Brockport, N.Y. — The Empire 8 Conference announced its inaugural 2026 Women's Flag Football All-Conference selections on Wednesday, April 29, recognizing the top performers from the league's first season. Following its championship run, SUNY Brockport placed six student-athletes on the All-Conference teams, trailing only regular-season champion Geneseo.
The Golden Eagles featured four First Team selections and two Second Team honorees, underscoring the depth of a roster that holds a 9–3 overall record and a 6–2 mark in conference play entering the final stretch of the season. All statistical information reflects Empire 8 contests only.
Megan Gerber — First Team Offense
Gerber powered the Brockport offense, rushing for 1,249 yards and 14 touchdowns on 139 carries. A dynamic dual-threat, she also completed 70 passes for 915 yards and 15 touchdowns, finishing with a team-high 2,164 yards of total offense. Gerber averaged 124.9 rushing yards per game and accounted for 16 total touchdowns during the regular season. She carried that production into the postseason, earning Empire 8 Tournament MVP honors after totaling nine touchdowns during the championship run.
Addy VanDewater — First Team Offense
VanDewater delivered an outstanding freshman season, leading Brockport with 102 total points. She recorded 40 receptions for 622 yards and a team-best 15 receiving touchdowns, averaging 15.55 yards per catch. She also contributed 18 tackles and three interceptions on defense, returning two for touchdowns. In postseason play, she added 10 receptions for 115 yards and three touchdowns, earning All-Tournament recognition.
Lauren Cundra — First Team Defense
Cundra anchored the secondary, leading the team with seven interceptions and 15 pass breakups. She totaled 48 tackles (46 solo), including 5.0 tackles for loss and one sack, while adding 117 interception return yards. Her consistent play earned All-Tournament honors, highlighted by interceptions in both the semifinal and championship.
Ariana Kennedy — First Team Defense
Kennedy led the defense with 65 total tackles, including 62 solo stops. She added 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and eight pass breakups, demonstrating versatility as both a run stopper and coverage defender.
Madison Beardsley — Second Team Offense
Beardsley earned Second Team recognition after leading the team with 1,059 passing yards and 18 passing touchdowns. She posted a 146.18 quarterback rating and added 491 rushing yards, totaling 1,550 yards of offense.
Cymbri Jefferson — Second Team Defense
Jefferson finished second on the team with 62 tackles (60 solo) and recorded eight pass breakups, along with a sack and a tackle for loss. Her leadership extended into the postseason, where she earned All-Tournament honors.
Caitlynn Haugh — Tomorrow's Leaders Team
Haugh was selected as Brockport's representative on the Empire 8 Tomorrow's Leaders Team, which recognizes student-athletes for excellence in leadership, character, and academics. She contributed 314 all-purpose yards on the field, including 215 receiving yards and 85 punt return yards.
