BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The SUNY Brockport field hockey team will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, September 12th, hosting Lycoming College at 2 p.m. at Dr. Linda Arena & Class of '69 Field.

Last Outing
Brockport sits at 2-1 on the season after opening the year with three non-conference contests. The Green and Gold kicked off the campaign with a 3-1 home-opening win over John Carroll, using early goals from Elise Brady and Cassidy Pado alongside a clutch goal-line defensive save by Emily Nestor. The Golden Eagles then traveled to Huntingdon, PA, where they posted a 3-0 shutout against Allegheny, fueled by penalty corner tallies from Penelope Schalck and Terralyn McLaughlin, plus an unassisted striker finish from Nestor. Brockport capped the trip with a narrow 0-1 setback against host Juniata despite generating 12 penalty corners.

E8 Defensive Player of the Week
Junior goalkeeper Lauren Mastromarco was named the Empire 8 Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for her performance in the cage. Mastromarco recorded 16 saves while allowing just two goals across 165 minutes of play. Her strong opening stretch included a season-high nine saves in the victory over John Carroll and 45 shutout minutes in the combined clean sheet over Allegheny.

Senior Day
Prior to Saturday's contest, the Golden Eagles will honor their two graduating seniors for their contributions to the program:

Sophia Jones: A four-year midfielder from Akron, NY, Jones has been a cornerstone in the Brockport lineup. She was named to the 2025 Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team, earning 36 career starts across 56 games played with six goals, four assists, and two game-winning tallies. She is also a two-time Empire 8 Player to Watch and an NFHCA Player to Watch.

Autumn Kramer: A forward/midfielder from Glenville, NY, Kramer has provided consistent presence across 38 career appearances and 17 starts. Recognized for her excellence in the classroom, Kramer was named to the 2025 NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Scouting Lycoming
Saturday's matchup marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Warriors enter the contest with a 2-1 record. After dropping their season opener 0-4 to Ohio Wesleyan, Lycoming bounced back with consecutive victories against St. Francis University (2-1) and King's College (3-2).
