Senior Becky Fabbiano (Lockport, NY/Lockport) of the women’s track and field team has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week. The award is Fabbiano’s second this year.

Competing at the Kent State Invitational, Fabbiano broke the Brockport school record in the pole vault event with a height of 11 ft. 7 1/4 inches (3.54m). Fabbiano finished fifth at the meet but was the top Division III participant.

Fabbiano currently ranks 17^th in all of Division III pole-vaulting with her current height. The senior’s previous personal-best score was 11 ft. 3 ¾ inches, set at the Robert Kane Invitational at Cornell earlier this year.
