Sophomore Kevin Dorn (Dix Hills, NY/Half Hallow Hills East) carried The College at Brockport Men’s Soccer team to a 2-0 conference weekend after scoring all three goals for the Golden Eagles. Dorn and the Golden Eagles have now won two straight after dropping five in a row.

Dorn struck early against Buffalo State on Friday afternoon, scoring a goal in the fifth minute of the match. The goal proved to be all the scoring Brockport needed as the Golden Eagles came out with the 1-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) victory over the Bengals. The goal was the first of the season for the sophomore.

On Saturday, Dorn once again provided all the scoring for Brockport as the Golden Eagles improved to 2-0 in the SUNYAC with a 2-1 victory over Fredonia. The sophomore scored a goal in each half to pace Brockport. The multi-goal performance was the first of Dorn’s career.

The Golden Eagles return home next weekend to host Oneonta on Friday and New Paltz on Saturday for a pair of SUNYAC contests.
