Senior Bobby Ross (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) has been named The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on October 6.

Ross earns his second Athlete of the Week honors after a weekend of excellent play.

Against New Paltz, Ross was an anchor for the Golden Eagle defense and helped Brockport earn another shutout with a 4-0 win. The victory kept the Golden Eagles undefeated in conference play as well as overall.

Ross scored an important goal off a penalty kick against a tough Oneonta team. The game ended in a 1-1 tie after both teams scored goals in the final minutes of regulation. With the tie, the Golden Eagles still remain unbeaten this season.

Brockport returns to action on the road for a SUNYAC matchup at Geneseo on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
