Junior track and field athlete Rachel Malone (Fairport, NY/Fairport) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on February 9.

Malone dazzled at the Valentine’s Day Invitational hosted by Boston University.

Against strong Division I competition, Malone held her own in the 5K. Malone recorded a season best time of 17:27, currently ranking her fifth in the nation.

The Golden Eagles return to action on February 16 for the Ithaca Invitational at 10 am.
