Junior gymnast Amanda Carney (Walpole, MA/Walpole) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 9.

Carney took first place overall on the floor exercise at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and helped the Golden Eagles defend their team title for the second year in a row

Carney had the highest score of the day with her 9.70 routine.

Brockport’s victory punches their ticket to the NCGA Championships on March 21 and 22 hosted by Ithaca College.
