SUNY Brockport Athletics

Freshman Margo Tremaine (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford-Mendon) has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 29. Tremaine scored two goals and an assist while helping Brockport stay perfect against SUNYAC opponents.

For the week, Brockport (3-7, 2-0 SUNYAC) went 1-1 losing to nationally ranked University of Rochester but scored a big 6-0 win over Morrisville. In the Conference win over the Mustangs, Tremaine had a strong game both offensively and defensively.

Tremaine scored the second goal of the game off a pass that led her right in front of the cage. Her next goal was similarly led by a pass that had her fire a shot past the goalkeeper inside the arc. She assisted the last goal of the game when she sent a pass to a rushing up field teammate, who then scored the sixth and final goal of the game.
