Senior Alanna Blasting (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore West) was named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 2. Blasting won multiple events for the Brockport Swimming and Diving team in a road meet against Fredonia.

Blasting excelled in both of the butterfly events in the Fredonia pool winning both distances of 100 and 200-yards. She narrowly eclipsed the time of a Golden Eagle teammate in the 100-yard butterfly, as a strong finish in the second length of the pool to finish with a time of 1:04.01.

Blasting also surpassed the same Golden Eagle teammate in the 200-yard butterfly. She used the second 100-yards to make up time and finish nearly a second ahead of the competition with a time of 2:23.99.
