SUNY Brockport Athletics

Noelle Poloncarz was masterful in her distribution of the volleyball as several Golden Eagles excelled this past week in volleyball matches. She had more than 25 assists in four of five contests in which Brockport did not lose a single set, as the Golden Eagles began the season 5-0. In total she collected 153 assists, 34 digs, eight kills and three aces.

Brockport defeated Roberts Wesleyan, Penn St. Behrend, Houghton, Skidmore and Ithaca. Poloncarz dished out 18 assists in the Golden Eagles defeat of Division II Roberts Wesleyan.

Her best match came against Houghton in which she tallied 43 assists in a 3-0 sweep. The Golden Eagles had an exciting second set versus the Highlanders. Sixty total points were scored in the second set as Brockport needed extra time to dispel Houghton 31-29 before handling the Highlanders in the third set 25-19.
