Julius Brunson has been named The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21. Brunson had an outstanding game against Empire 8 Conference opponent Hartwick, helping to lead the Golden Eagles to a 35-14 victory.

Brunson had key plays in the Golden Eagles conference-opening win against Hartwick College.  The sophomore picked up two interceptions, including a 40-yard return.

His second interception of the game led Brockport to seven quick points. In the game he also added three tackles and got his hand on two pass breakups for the Golden Eagles.

Brockport travels to St. John Fisher College this Saturday for the annual Courage Bowl to benefit Camp Good Days.
