Sophomore Elizabeth Levy (Glen Allen, VA/Hermitage) set a season-high in the all-around during Saturday’s Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship meet as The College at Brockport’s women’s gymnastics team once again qualified for the national championship meet. Levy is Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Brockport posted its fourth-highest team score ever during ECAC’s, scoring 189.100 points as the team placed second at the competition. By placing in the top three in team scores, Brockport once again will compete in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association’s (NCGA) National Championships, held March 25-26 at the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire.

 

 

Led by Levy’s balanced performances, Brockport placed fourth or better in all four individual events. The Golden Eagles captured the uneven bars title (46.350), were second on the floor (48.275), third on the balance beam (47.050) and fourth on the vault (47.425).
