Freshman Jessica Senek (Ransomville, NY/Wilson) Senek was very efficient in both matches for The College at Brockport volleyball team, and the Golden Eagles went 2-0 this week.
For her efforts, Senek was named Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.
Against D’Youville College on Wednesday, Senek lead the team with a career-high nine kills on 26 attempts. Brockport won the match in three sets.
On Thursday, Senek once again led the Golden Eagles in kills with seven in another convincing win over Alfred University. Senek only committed two errors in the match, and also tacked on a block.
With two wins during the week, the Golden Eagles improved to 8-13 on the year.
