Dan Hurlimann (Rochester, NY/Hilton) broke the school record for triples in a season with his fifth of the season but The College at Brockport Baseball team managed just four additional hits in a 7-2 loss to Oneonta Friday in a State University of new York Athletic Conference game at Oneonta.
The loss eliminated Brockport from playoff contention for the SUNYAC Tournament as the Golden Eagles (18-14 Overall, 5-11 SUNYAC) wrap up the regular season conference schedule Saturday with a doubleheader against the Red Dragons in Oneonta.

The Red Dragons answered with another run in the bottom half of the inning and broke the game open scoring four times in the bottom of the seventh to build a 7-1 lead.
Brockport threatened in the ninth scoring one run but left the bases loaded when the third out of the inning was recorded for the Oneonta win.
Hurlimann connected on his triple in the fifth inning with one out and scored two batters later when
Brendan Swayne (Seaford, NY/Plainedge) singled to left field.
In the Brockport ninth,

Wesley Burghardt (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) walked,
Pete Wilson (Rochester, NY/Irondequoit) hit into a fielder's choice advancing Lander to third. Hurlimann walked to load the bases and
Mike Weakley (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) drew another walk to force home the final run of the game.
