Last Time Out: Brockport dropped two games in a doubleheader against Oswego in their last outing. Game one was a close offensive heavy battle, as Brockport fell 14-13. The team would then finish out game two with a 7-2 loss. The Green and Gold rattled off 17 hits in the first game, but it wasn't enough as the squad is now 13-4 overall with a 7-3 record in SUNYAC play.

Kretzler Chasing History: Having homered in the bottom of the first for his seventh home run this season, Tom Kretzler is now tied for the most career home runs hit by a Golden Eagle. He is tied with Brockport alumnus Max Zimmerman (2008-11) and Jim Voutour (1985-88) at the top of the record book with 20 career homers. With his seven home runs this season, Kretzler currently ranks first in the conference and 11th in the nation.

O'Dair's Monster Year: Going into this weekend Matt O'Dair currently has a .510 batting average and is on pace to create his own spot in the Brockport record books. Over the course of a single season, with a minimum of 50 at-bats, the record is currently held by Glenn Dow's .449 batting average back in 1987.

Mansell's Triple Mark: Ryan Mansell has joined as an elite club with his four triples this season. All those extra base hits put him in an eleven-way tie for second in program history for triples in a single season. The current record was set by Dan Hurlimann in 2013, when he hit five triples in the season.

Team Rankings: The Golden Eagles will enter the weekend holding seven categories inside the top 25 nationally.  Their slugging percentage of .571 ranks sixth nationally. The team's overall batting average of .356 is good enough for ninth in the nation. Brockport is also 11th in doubles per game (2.82), 12th in on base percentage (.449), 14th in scoring (9.7 runs/game), 20th in home runs per game (1.18), and 25th in hits allowed per nine innings (7.76).

Individual Rankings: The Green and Gold currently has four position players who are nationally ranked in the top 25 of six different categories. After raking all year, Matt O'Dair currently ranks fifth in the nation in batting average (.510) and 13th in on base percentage (.590). Kretzler's 11th in the nation for home runs, while Ryan Mansell ranks 18th in the nation in triples per game and is 24th in the nation for total triples (4). With his 17 walks this season Justin Pangburn gets his name in the NCAA ranks as well, coming in at 18th in the nation in walks per game (1.06).  Kyle Canavally is 25th in the rankings in hits allowed per nine innings. Andrew Huffman is 43rd nationally averaging 12.5 strikeouts per nine innings.

Looking at Cortland: The Red Dragons will enter Monday's competition with an overall record of 20-4 with a SUNYAC Record of 11-1, having most recently lost the second game of a doubleheader to Oneonta 2-1. Going into Monday's matchup the Golden Eagles will look to extinguish the flames of the Red Dragons' top two hitters who are batting over .400 on the season, Scott Giordano and Ben Rhodes. Cortland's solid pitching core will also be tested by the bats of Brockport. Cortland has three pitchers who have thrown over 20 innings and recorded a 2.50 ERA or less.

Up Next: Brockport is back home on Wednesday for another SUNYAC matchup against Fredonia. This doubleheader is set to get started at 1 pm at the Clark V. Whited Complex.
