Heather Conklin and
Morgan Elmer were named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-American's in a release by the coaches association on Monday. Conklin was named to the second team, while goalie
Morgan Elmer earned third team honors. The honor marks the first career All-American award for both Conklin and Elmer and they became the 11
th and 12
th All-American's in program-history.
The IWLCA named 57 student-athletes to the 2021 Division III All-American teams. This group of IWLCA All-Americans represent 31 different institutions and are the best athletes in the Division III game this year.
Conklin earned her first career All-American honor and she was a three-time all-region selection for her career. Conklin, the SUNYAC Player of the Year, was a four-time SUNYAC All-Conference First Team selection. She led the SUNYAC in four key statistical categories this season making her a lock for Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. She stood above all others in the conference with 67 points, 55 goals, 63 draw controls, and 18 free position goals. Conklin's incredible season changed the record books at Brockport as she stands alone as the all-time leader in career goals and is the only player in school history to surpass the 200-goal mark for her career.

Morgan Elmer was a brick wall in net all season for the Green and Gold and was rightfully rewarded with her first career All-American honor. She was also a first team all-region selection and a first team all-conference pick in 2021. The junior goalie led the conference with 123 saves and a 56.2% save percentage. Elmer was also active on defense causing eight turnovers and finished tied for second in the SUNYAC with 33 ground balls. She came up with double-digit saves on six different occasions to help secure All-American honors.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2021 season 10-3 overall, 7-1 in the SUNYAC, and an undefeated 7-0 on their home field. After defeating Oneonta, 16-7, in the SUNYAC Tournament Semifinals, Brockport fell to Cortland, 15-13, in the championship game to end the year.
