Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's basketball team will head to Rochester for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, November 28
th at 7 pm.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles hosted the Tigers of RIT last Tuesday, falling 67-53 in a competitive battle.
 
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste put together another strong two-way performance, leading Brockport with 16 points and a career-high six steals.
 
Zairea Hannah found double-digits, scoring 10 points (5-for-7 shooting) to go along with seven rebounds.
 
Zoe Zutes denied the Tigers throughout, ending the contest with a game-high five blocks to go with her nine rebounds.
 
The RIT bench unit led the way, outscoring the Brockport bench 33-9 to allow RIT to pull away in the second quarter.
 
The Green and Gold fell to 3-1 overall following the loss.
 
Minimizing Mistakes: Through four games, the Golden Eagles have been able to limit turnovers and force the issue on defense. They have turned the ball over just 53 times, compared to their opponent's 87 (13.3 to 21.8 per game). Brockport has been able to take advantage of mistakes from the opposition, averaging over 24 points off turnovers a game.
 
Scouting Rochester: The Yellowjackets have jumped out to a 3-2 start, most recently taking down William Smith 83-72 on Saturday. Senior guard Abby Gress leads the way for Rochester, coming off a 22-point, 14-rebound performance against William Smith for her second double-double of the season. The Golden Eagles will head to Rochester attempting to avenge last year's 67-54 loss to the Yellowjackets.
