BROCKPORT, NY – The accolades continue to pour in for Brockport's standout senior
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste. On Wednesday, March 19th, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) officially announced the NCAA Division III award winners for the 2025-26 season, naming Jean-Baptiste a WBCA All-American Honorable Mention.
This prestigious honor, voted on by the WBCA NCAA Division III Awards Committee, recognizes the elite tier of student-athletes who have defined the standard of excellence across the country this season.
The All-American nod is one of the final pieces of a trophy case that has grown rapidly over the last month. This past weekend, Jean-Baptiste traveled to Salem, VA, to compete in the WBCA Division III Senior All-Star Game. Held at the Cregger Center in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Final Four, the game featured only 20 seniors from across the nation. Representing the Green and Gold, SJB took the floor alongside the elite of Division III, celebrating her collegiate career on the sport's biggest stage. Just weeks ago, Jean-Baptiste was named to the All-ECAC First-Team and the D3hoops.com All-Region 3 First-Team.
Her statistical output during her final campaign in the Green and Gold was spectacular:
- 19.0 PPG: Led the Empire 8 in scoring.
- 44.9% FG: Maintained elite efficiency despite being the primary target of every opposing defense.
- The "41-Piece": Set a Brockport program record with a 41-point explosion against St. John Fisher.
- All-Around Impact: Averaged 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
She concludes her career as one of the most decorated players in program history, ranking in the top five all-time at Brockport in points (1,578), steals (194), made field goals (598), and made three-pointers (147).
By being named an All-American Honorable Mention, Jean-Baptiste cements her status as one of the most decorated players in Brockport history. This announcement follows her selection as one of only 20 seniors nationwide to compete in the WBCA Division III Senior All-Star Game, proving that her impact was felt far beyond the borders of New York.
