The Knights started off hot in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs thanks in part to a two-run double from Justin Moreno.

Colin Pytlak would bounce back following a rocky first inning, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings and punching out five NJCU batters.

The Golden Eagles would get on the scoreboard in the 6
th inning, thanks to a double steal that saw
Zach Eldred steal second, allowing
James Simoncelli to steal a run for the Green and Gold.

Entering the top of the 9
th down 6-1, the Golden Eagles would rally for two runs, with
Josh Indek drawing a bases-loaded walk, and
James Simoncelli driving in a run with a fielder's choice.

The Brockport rally would be cut short in the 9
th, with left fielder Bryan Fernandez robbing
Zach Eldred of an RBI hit.

Troy Leibert was strong in relief, throwing 3.1 innings and allowing only one run.
