Box Score UTICA, NY — The Brockport Women's Tennis team finished its fall regular season campaign in dominant fashion on the road, securing a decisive 7-0 sweep over Utica University.
After suffering a tough loss, 7-0, against Geneseo earlier in the week, the Golden Eagles showed resilience and focus, leaving no room for doubt against the Pioneers by sweeping both the doubles and singles points.
Brockport seized the crucial doubles point by winning all three matches. The top pairing of Cara Vasile and Leah Banes set a strong example at first doubles, dispatching Lindsey Tiedemann and Kimora-Lee Simmons with a 6-3 victory.
