Brockport, NY – On Monday, the Empire 8 announced that Brockport's Madisen Jones was selected as the E8 Women's Volleyball Co-Rookie of the Week.
 
Madisen Jones was highly productive for the Golden Eagles across to wins in E8 play this past weekend. The freshman totaled 22 kills, seven service aces, 17 digs, and two block assists in seven sets of action.
 
With 46 total attempts offensively, she registered an attack percentage of .391 in the pair of victories. Jones had a big outing against Elmira with 15 kills, seven dig, two block assists, and four aces.
 
The Golden Eagles are now 10-7 overall and 3-1 in the Empire 8 after winning three consecutive matches in league play.
