Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's volleyball team is at home Wednesday night to host Geneseo for Brockport's Dig Pink Night for Breast Cancer Awareness. This Empire 8 matchup is scheduled for a 6pm start at The Vlog.
 
PINK OUT: Looking to promote Breast Cancer Awareness the Golden Eagles want fans to wear pink for Dig Pink Night at The Vlog. Brockport is spreading awareness and raising funds to help the cause to fight breast cancer. The team will also be selling 75 Dig Pink Night t-shirts outside the door, with all proceeds being donated. Get out to The Vlog for a great game, a better cause, and don't forget to wear pink!

Last Weekend: Brockport added two wins to its tally last weekend to make it three in a row in conference play. At home the squad swept the visiting Keuka Wolves, 3-0. The next day Brockport was on the road for an impressive 3-1 win over Elmira. The Green and Gold enter this week's slate 10-7 overall with a 3-1 mark in the Empire 8.
 
Weekly Award Winner: On Monday, the Empire 8 announced that Brockport's Madisen Jones was selected as the E8 Women's Volleyball Co-Rookie of the Week. Jones was highly productive for the Golden Eagles across to wins in E8 play this past weekend. The freshman totaled 22 kills, seven service aces, 17 digs, and two block assists in seven sets of action. With 46 total attempts offensively, she registered an attack percentage of .391 in the pair of victories. Jones had a big outing against Elmira with 15 kills, seven dig, two block assists, and four aces.
 
Protecting the Nest: Since taking over the program ahead of the 2023 season, Head Coach Jim Clar and the Golden Eagles have made it a priority to defend home court. In the 19 games played in The Vlog since then, Brockport is 17-2. At 4-1 on the season at home so far, Brockport looks to protect the home floor once again versus Geneseo on Wednesday night.

Brockport vs Geneseo: Brockport takes on a familiar foe in Geneseo for Wednesday night's E8 clash at The Vlog. The Knights enter the match 10-8 overall with a 3-1 mark in conference play. They have won four of the last five outings, all by way of a 3-0 sweep. Last season the Golden Eagles were able to best the Knights on the road, 3-2. The year before it was a 3-2 win the other way for Geneseo, which suggests this year's matchup will be another exciting battle.
 
Road Trip: This weekend the Golden Eagles will hit the road for a pair of E8 matches. They face Utica on Friday at 7pm and then take on SUNY Poly at 2pm on Saturday.
