BROCKPORT, NY - On Monday, December 8th, the Empire 8 Conference announced its selections for Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week. Freshman Ajani Flemming was named Rookie of the Week following an excellent outing against RIT last Tuesday. 

In Brockport's dominant 84-65 win at RIT last week, Flemming displayed outstanding efficiency off the bench. Across 26 minutes of action, the Brooklyn, NY native scored a season-high 16 points on outstanding 80% shooting from beyond the arc (4-5). Flemming added three assists and two rebounds in a strong all-around performance.

Flemming has taken on an increased role, scoring 12+ points in each of his last three outings, averaging 11.3 points, 2.5 assists, and a steal per game. The freshman leads all qualified Golden Eagles in three-point percentage, drilling 11 of 22 three-pointers to open the season.

Brockport sits at 2-3 on the season and will take on Piedmont University on Monday, December 15th at 2 PM in Daytona, FL.
