Justin Beach,
Zach Eldred, and
Anthony Lapine were all recognized for a great 2025 campaign.
Justin Beach was named the 2025 D3baseball.com Region 3 Coach of the Year in his final year at the helm. Beach led Brockport to a 36-5-2 mark overall in 2025 to go with a 21-1-1 record as a first-year member of the Empire 8. He led the Golden Eagles to a E8 Regular Season Title, before claiming the Empire 8 Championship at home to earn the automatic NCAA bid. Coach Beach will conclude his coaching career at Brockport as the program's all-time winningest coach with 416 career wins.
Zach Eldred received D3baseball.com Region 3 All-Region 1
st-Team honors and was named Region 3's Player of the Year. A historical season for Eldred also helped him earn his second career ABCA All-Region nod to go with Player of the Year honors for Region 3 in 2025. Brockport's star player also earned 1
st-Team All-Conference and was named the Empire 8 Baseball Player of the Year. Zach finishes his career as a 2-time All-Region selection, 3-time All-Conference selection, 2-time Conference Player of the Year, and now as the Regional Player of the Year for two different outlets.
Eldred proved to be elite both at the plate and as a pitcher for the Golden Eagles in 2025. As a batter he set or tied the single season records at Brockport with 70 hits, 59 runs, 18 home runs, and 70 RBIs. He registered a .414 batting average, .840 slugging, and a .485 on base percentage. While on the mound, the Golden Eagle earned an 8-0 record with a 1.89 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 62.0 innings. Eldred held opposing batters to a .197 average and registered 73 strikeouts in 12 starts on the hill.
Anthony Lapine gets a second 1
st-Team All-Region (D3baseball & ABCA) selection to finish off 2025, to go with his 1
st-Team All-Conference and Empire 8 Pitcher of the Year honors. He put together an incredible season for the Green and Gold on the mound, earning a 9-1 record across 14 appearances. Anthony earned a 2.01 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and had 83 strikeouts across 71.2 innings pitched. He was also named the E8 Tournament MVP after a complete game shutout performance against Russell Sage.
The Golden Eagles claimed the 2025 Empire 8 Conference Championship this spring to earn the automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championships. A pair of losses in the regional round ended the campaign at 36-5-2 overall and a 21-1-1 mark in E8 competition.
