Brockport, NY – On Tuesday, May 27^th, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced the selections for the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year. Brockport earned five All-Region selections and Zach Eldred was named Region 3 Position Player of the Year.
 
Zach Eldred – Region 3 Position Player of the Year, 1^st-Team All-Region Utility
A historical season for Eldred paved the way for his second career ABCA All-Region nod to go with Player of the Year honors for Region 3. Brockport's star player also earned 1^st-Team All-Conference and was named the Empire 8 Baseball Player of the Year. Zach finishes his career as a 2-time All-Region selection, 3-time All-Conference selection, 2-time Conference Player of the Year, and now as the Regional Player of the Year.
 
Eldred proved to be elite both at the plate and as a pitcher for the Golden Eagles in 2025. As a batter he set or tied the single season records at Brockport with 70 hits, 59 runs, 18 home runs, and 70 RBIs. He registered a .414 batting average, .840 slugging, and a .485 on base percentage. While on the mound, the Golden Eagle earned an 8-0 record with a 1.89 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 62.0 innings. Eldred held opposing batters to a .197 average and registered 73 strikeouts in 12 starts on the hill.
 
Anthony Lapine – 1^st-Team All-Region Pitcher
Lapine gets the first All-Region selection of his career in 2025 to go with 1^st-Team All-Conference and Empire 8 Pitcher of the Year honors. He put together an incredible season for the Green and Gold on the mound, earning a 9-1 record across 14 appearances. Anthony earned a 2.01 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and had 83 strikeouts across 71.2 innings pitched. He was also named the E8 Tournament MVP after a complete game shutout performance against Russell Sage.
 
Jason Story – 2^nd-Team All-Region Outfielder
In his lone season with the Golden Eagles, Story earns 2^nd-Team All-Region to go with 1^st-Team All-Conference honors. The fifth-year outfielder was a welcome addition to the lineup in Brockport for 2025. He finished the season with a .315 average, .629 slugging, and .465 on base percentage. Jason connected for 45 hits, 12 doubles, 11 home runs, and 54 RBIs to go with 48 runs scored. He also tied the single season program record with 20 hit by pitches at the plate.
 
Ryan Peters – 2^nd-Team All-Region Pitcher
Peters collects the first postseason honors of his career at Brockport with a 2^nd-Team All-Region selection at pitcher. He had a great 2025 campaign with a 6-1 record across 10 appearances on the mound. Ryan finished the season with a 2.49 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts across 43.1 innings. He also held opposing batters to just a .145 average at the plate. Peters was also named to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team after going 8.0 innings with 12 strikeouts over Houghton.
 
Kyle Blake – 3^rd-Team All-Region Outfielder
Blake grabs 3^rd-Team All-Region to go with 1^st-Team All-Conference in the Empire 8 this season for the first postseason awards of his career. The sophomore finished the year with a .396 batting average, .497 slugging, and a .476 on base percentage. Kyle totaled 63 hits, 13 doubles, one home run, 37 RBIs, and 35 runs scored.
 
The Golden Eagles claimed the 2025 Empire 8 Conference Championship this spring to earn the automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championships. A pair of losses in the regional round ended the campaign at 36-5-2 overall and a 21-1-1 mark in E8 competition.
