BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport Women's Basketball team will host Elmira to open conference play on Tuesday, January 6th at 5:30 PM.
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles were defeated at home, 75-57, against Rochester on Saturday, January 3rd. Brockport fell to 4-5 on the season following the loss.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led all players with 20 points, adding three steals and two assists in an strong all-around performance. Jean-Baptiste moved into fourth all-time on the Brockport Women's Basketball All-Time Scoring List following the contest.Â
Claire Turner was excellent on the glass for Brockport, grabbing a game and career 15 rebounds with four points, two blocks, and two steals in a strong all-around effort.
Mandy Brink rounded out the top scorers for Brockport, finishing with 12 rebounds, four rebounds, and three steals.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste continues to climb the Golden Eagles All-Time Scoring List. Her 1274 points serves as the fourth most in program history, with SJB averaging over 16.8 PPG across her last three seasons, and currently sitting in fifth in career scoring average (15.2 PPG). Scoring 19.5 PPG across her first eight games, Jean-Baptiste is on pace for the fourth highest scoring season in program history.Â
Crashing the Glass: Starting all nine games for the Green and Gold,
Claire Turner has made the most of her increased opportunities in her sophomore season. Seeing her playing time drastically increase from last season (10.6 - 23.7 MPG), Turner has commanded the paint, blocking a Empire 8 third best 17 shots (1.9 AVG/G) and snatching a conference sixth best 85 rebounds (9.4 AVG/G). Showcasing her constancy, the Cortland, NY native has posted 4+ points, 7+ rebounds, and 2+ blocks in each of her last six outings. Turner set a new career in single-game rebounding against Rochester (15) after a 13-rebound outing against John Carroll.
Scouting Elmira: The Soaring Eagles will enter Tuesday with a 5-4 overall record, most recently downing Keystone College at home, 73-48. The Golden Eagles have dominated the head to head series, defeating Elmira on three separate occasions last season, including a 101-62 win at home in the 2025 Empire 8 Quarterfinals. Brockport is looking to extend the head to head winning streak to six straight games.   Â
