BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport Women's Basketball team (15-7, 11-2 E8) will welcome SUNY Poly (7-15, 3-10 E8) for National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Friday, February 13th at 5:30 PM. The Golden Eagles will take on Utica University (7-15, 3-10 E8) for Senior Day on Saturday, February 14th at 2 PM.

Senior Day: On Saturday, the Golden Eagles will honor five graduating players for their contributions and dedication to the Brockport Women's Basketball program. Claire Turner, Mallory Turner, Mandy Brink, Madison Misser, and Stephanie Jean-Baptiste will be honored before the start of Saturday's contest.

Last Outing: Brockport rode a record-breaking performance from Stephanie Jean-Baptiste to down St. John Fisher (10-12, 7-6 E8), 91-84, on Saturday, February 7th. The Golden Eagles completed the season sweep of the Cardinals following the seven-point victory.

The story of the afternoon was Stephanie Jean-Baptiste, who delivered a performance for the ages. Jean-Baptiste exploded for a career-high 41 points, breaking the long-standing single-game scoring record of 39 points set by Lisa Diaz in 1980. She was nearly automatic from the floor, shooting 15-of-19 (78.9%), including 2-of-4 from deep and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line.

Brianna Carey provided high-level secondary scoring, finishing with 18 points on an efficient 6-of-12 shooting. Carey was clutch in the second half, contributing 11 points after the break to weather the Cardinals' late-game surge.

Mandy Brink orchestrated the offense with veteran poise, logging 13 points and a team-high four assists. Her defensive pressure was felt early as she recorded two of her three steals in the opening quarter alone.

Jackie Kozakiewicz provided a massive spark off the bench with seven points and five rebounds. Her impact was felt most in the closing minutes, where she secured a critical defensive rebound and hit a clutch layup to help put the game out of reach.

Rewriting Records: Setting a new program record for single-game scoring against St. John Fisher, Stephanie Jean-Baptiste looks poised to finish her Brockport career with numerous top-5 program best marks. Jean-Baptiste moved into first place in career field goal attempts (1,421) in Brockport's win over St. John Fisher, and ranks third in program history in career field goals made (576). The four-year standout from Jersey City, NJ, will finish her playing career among the greatest to wear the Green and Gold, earning record book marks in career scoring (1,520, 4th), career steals (185, T-3rd), career three pointers made (145, 3rd), career free throws made (223, 8th), and career free throw percentage (76.1%, 7th) with several games left to play.

Home Sweet Home: Posting an 8-2 record at home, the Golden Eagles will look to lean on the Brockport faithful to continue an excellent stretch of play at The Vlog. Over the last three seasons, head coach Corinne Jones has led the Green and Gold to a 29-8 record at the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium, showcasing dominance since joining the Empire 8 conference in the 2024-25 season. In Empire 8 play, Brockport has rolled to a 12-2 regular season record at home, with the Golden Eagles holding a superb 26-3 overall record since joining the E8.

Scouting SUNY Poly: The Wildcats are riding back-to-back wins, defeating SUNY Delhi in non-conference play, 57-30, last Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have swept both head-to-head meetings since joining the Empire 8 last season, including a 76-66 win in Utica against the Wildcats back on January 17th.

Scouting Utica: The Pioneers are coming off a Senior Day victory over Houghton last Saturday (86-75), and will head to SUNY Geneseo on Friday before squaring off with the Golden Eagles. Brockport will be looking to build off a 97-78 win over Utica on the road back on January 16th.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will close out the regular season at SUNY Geneseo on Tuesday, February 17th, at 5:30 PM.
