BROCKPORT, NY - On Thursday, February 26th, the Empire 8 conference announced its selections for Women's Basketball All-Conference and Player of the Year Selections.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was named Women's Basketball Player of the Year, with
Brianna Carey and
Mandy Brink each earning Second Team All-Confernece honors. Senior guard
Madison Misser was named to the Empire 8 Tomorrow's Leaders Team.
Player of the Year / First Team All-Conference: Stephanie Jean-BaptisteÂ
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was named Empire 8 Player of the Year, earning individual and First-Team honors in back-to-back seasons. In a historic final season with Brockport, Jean-Baptiste led the conference in scoring with 19 PPG on outstanding 45% shooting from the floor, adding 5.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game as a dynamic threat for the Golden Eagles. SJB's season highlights include five Empire 8 Player of the Week nods, D3hoops.com Team of the Week selection following a program record 41 point outburst against St. John Fisher, and double figure scoring in 25 of 26 contests on the season. The Jersey City, NJ native will go down as one of the best players in Brockport history, finishing with top five program career marks in points (1,578, 4th), steals (194, 2nd), made field goals (598, 3rd), and made three-pointers (147, 4th),Â
Second Team All-Conference: Brianna Carey and Mandy BrinkÂ
Brianna Carey earned Second Team All-Conference following a dazzling debut season with the Green and Gold. Carey provided stability to a high-powered Brockport offense, averaging 11.8 PPG on effective .434/.330/.800 shooting splits, adding 2.9 rebounds and nearly two steals per game (1.9). The junior finished the 2025-26 season with five straight games of 11+ points, scoring 10+ in eight of her final 10 games. Â
Mandy Brink landed on the All-Conference Second Team after a standout junior season with Brockport. Averaging a team second-best 13.3 PPG, Brink posted career-bests in nearly every statistical category. The Ashville, NY native doubled her AST/G (1.3 - 3.0), PPG (6.6 - 13.3), and steals (21 - 57) while grabbing nearly five rebounds per game (4.9). Brink led the Golden Eagles with a excellent 80.2% shooting from the foul line.Â
The Golden Eagles finished the 2025-26 season with a 18-8 overall record and 14-2 mark in conference play. Brockport has posted a 29-3 regular season record in Empire 8 play since joining the conference for the 2024-25 season.
