Brockport, NY- The National Field Hockey Coaches Association named Terralyn McLaughlin and Sophia Jones to the 2026 NFHCA Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events. The 2026 NFHCA Watchlist recognizes field hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

McLaughlin (All-Conference 2nd Team / E8 Sportswoman of the Year) had a breakout sophomore campaign, starting all 18 games; she led all Golden Eagles with five assists, tied for a team-high 17 points, and logged 984 minutes. Jones (All-Conference 2nd Team) anchored the defense with two defensive saves and contributed two goals and an assist. Both return as recognized All-Conference midfielders, with Terralyn coming off a breakout offensive season and Sophia returning as an experienced defensive midfielder. 

Their NFHCA member coaches nominated student-athletes who must have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years. Qualifying honors include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, or selection to a U.S. National or international team roster.
