Brockport, NY- The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team will play its final two home matches of the regular season this week. On Wednesday, October 12
th the women will play Geneseo at 4pm for the Professor Appreciation Game. Brockport will also host New Paltz on Saturday, October 15
th for their Senior Day Black Out on Dr. Linda Arena Field at 1pm.
Senior Day: This Saturday, October 15
th, the Golden Eagles will be celebrating Senior Day on their final home game of the regular season. Prior to the match there will be a ceremony on the field to recognize the seniors for their dedication and contributions to the program. This year's senior class includes:

Julia Mascaro,
Franchesca Polcaro,
Kiley Longin,
Camryn Pettit,
Brylie Hapeman,
Kayla Usborne, and
Sydnee Smith.
Week Recap: The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team faced Fredonia on the road Wednesday night under the lights. With a final score of 1-1, the two SUNYAC opponents battled to a draw. In the next contest, the Golden Eagles claimed a 2-1 victory over Oneonta for a big win in conference play. They are now 4-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in SUNYAC play with just four matches remaining in the regular season.
Getting on the Board: Last week the team went 1-0-1against a pair of league opponents. In the draw with Fredonia,
Franchesca Polcaro scored her second goal of the season. Polcaro was assisted by teammate
Sophia DeAngelo. DeAngelo would also get credit for helping
Kiley Longin score in Brockport's win over Oneonta. Longin found the back of the net for the second time this season. Freshman
Kaleigh Pettit recorded the first goal of her collegiate career as the game-winner against the Red Dragons.
Back in Net: Kayla Usborne has started 11 of the 12 games so far this year in net as the goalkeeper for the Green and Gold. She has come up with 28 saves to earn a .700 saves percentage. Fresman
Madeline McCrosson has stepped in to make eight saves in limited playing time this season as the backup goalie.
SUNYAC Standings: The Golden Eagles are currently 3-2-1 in the conference heading into the final stretch of the regular season. They are sitting at fourth in the SUNYAC standings with three more conference matchups left on the schedule. The full conference standings are as follows: 1. New Paltz, 2. Cortland, 3. Geneseo, 4. Brockport, 5. Oswego, 6. Plattsburgh, 7. Potsdam, 8. Buffalo State, 9. Fredonia, 10. Oneonta.
Looking at the Knights: SUNY Geneseo is 7-3-2 going into Wednesday's match and owns a 4-0-1 mark in the conference. The Knights have scored a total of 20 goals so far this season, five of which coming from their leading scorer, Lindsay Wright. Geneseo's senior goalkeeper Angel Bennett has started every game this season in the net. She has made 34 saves, only allowed six goals, and has a save percentage of 0.850.
Looking at the Hawks: SUNY New Paltz is 8-2-1 heading into the week and holds the top spot in the SUNYAC with a 5-1 mark in the conference. The team has a total of 26 goals this season, seven of which were scored by sophomore Rachel Eisert. Gaby Treble is close behind with five goals and Parris Burke is right around the corner with four this year. The Hawks' starting goalkeeper, Maddie Franklin, leads the SUNYAC with her .900 saves percentage.
