Brockport, NY – Recently the College Sports Communicators announced the 2025-2026 Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams for the NCAA and NAIA divisions. Brockport was represented by
Brianna Marino,
Megan Gerber,
Emily McCane,
Lena Turaj, and
Lucy Crounse on this year's CSC All-District Women's Soccer Team.
Each of these student-athletes played key roles on the field for the Golden Eagles this season and maintained high academic standards at the same time. The five selected all have maintained cumulative GPAs of 3.50 or better at Brockport.
Brianna Marino makes her way to the CSC Academic All-District Team with a GPA of 3.78 as an exercise science major. She played in 19 of the team's 20 games this year, including nine starts on the pitch. Marino scored one goal, which served as the game-winner against Keuka.
Megan Gerber, an environmental science and ecology major, has maintained a 3.64 GPA at Brockport to earn a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team. On the field she was named 1
st-Team All-Conference and 3
rd-Team All-Region. Gerber contributed strongly to the Golden Eagles undefeated conference record, where she recorded five goals (2
nd on team) and two assists for 12 points (3
rd on team).
Emily McCane adds to her big year with a CSC Academic All-District spot, thanks to a 3.59 GPA as a psychology major. Following a dominant year in between the pipes for the Golden Eagles, McCane earned 1
st-Team All-Region, 1
st-Team All-Conference, and was named the Empire 8 2025 Goalkeeper of the Year. She had an undefeated individual record of 9-0-3, while recording a 0.25 goals against average and a .920 saves percentage. As the primary starter in net, she contributed to 12 clean sheets for the Golden Eagles this year.
Lena Turaj is a neuroscience major, and her 3.56 GPA earned her a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team. As a key piece of Brockport's top notch backline defense, Lena was recognized in 2025 with a 3
rd-Team All-Conference selection. She played in every matchup this season, recording 1585 minutes on the field (2
nd on team), and started 19 of the 20 games. Turaj played every minute in the last five games of the season and added two assists, four shots, and three shots on goal.
Lucy Crounse rounds up the list of Brockport's CSC Academic All-District selections, as she earned a 3.52 GPA as a journalism and broadcasting major. Playing in all 20 matches this season, Lucy got the start in 11 of those in 2025. She scored one goal and had one assist for three total points. Over the course of 824 minutes of action she fired 16 shots with a .750 shots on goal percentage.
The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a dominating 14-2-4 overall record and went undefeated in conference play for the second time in program history (2006), posting a 10-0-1 record. Brockport also claimed the regular-season title for the second consecutive season in the Empire 8.
