Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport volleyball team is on the road Tuesday night for a 7pm matchup against St. John Fisher. It is the lone match of the week for the Golden Eagles, who are looking to improve on their 2-5 start.

William Smith Tournament: This past weekend the squad was out in Geneva, NY competing in the tournament at William Smith College. Brockport went 2-1 for the trip with 3-0 sweeps over Thiel and Hartwick, before a five-set loss to William Smith, 3-2. At the conclusion of play it was announced that both
Jordan Thompson and
Ashley Allen were selected to the All-Tournament Team. Thompson earns that honor two weeks in a row after earning that honor the week before at Mt. Union's Tournament.
Team Leaders: Jordan Thompson is tops on the team in both points and kills so far this year. She has 96.5 points, 87 kills, and is third on the team with 46 digs defensively.
Alenna Williamson is second with 47 kills and has been efficient with a team-high .324 attacking percentage.
Ashley Allen has registered 149 assists from her setter position on the floor to lead the team. She is averaging 5.96 assists per set so far this year. Teammate
Kaitlyn Jewett is second with 65 assists.
Elsie Logan and
Gianna Felipe lead the team in digs. Logan has a total of 57 so far, while Felipe is close behind at 55 digs.
Jayda Pyle leads the Golden Eagles with eight total blocks, while Allen is second with seven.
St. John Fisher: The Cardinals will enter Tuesday night's match with a record of 0-6, as they are still looking for their first win of the season. This past weekend St. John Fisher went 0-3, dropping matches to Geneseo, Heidelberg, and John Carroll. Brockport has fallen to Fisher, 3-2, in back-to-back seasons. However, the Green and Gold had won seven in a row against Fisher prior to the two losses.
Fisher's attack is led by Kaylene Noble, who has a team-high 64 kills. She is just ahead of teammate Delayne Young who has 62 kills on the year. Reilly Morrow is the starting setter for the Cardinals, tallying 156 assists so far this season. Defensively, Ana Gutman's 17 total blocks is first on the team. Kiera Hartpence leads the team with 89 digs.
