BROCKPORT, NY — The SUNY Brockport women's volleyball team returns to the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium on Friday, October 9th, at 6:00 PM as they host Elmira College. The Golden Eagles will then take to the road on Saturday, October 10th, traveling to Keuka Park, NY, for a 2:00 PM conference matchup against Keuka College.

Brockport enters the upcoming weekend looking to bounce back following a pair of hard-fought Empire 8 road setbacks last week.
In their conference opener at Hartwick, the Green and Gold generated 50 kills behind a balanced front-row attack. Outside hitters

Kaylee Dickerson-Holly led the charge with 12 kills apiece, with Dickerson-Holly securing a double-double with 13 digs.

Elsie Logan stabilized the defense with 18 digs and three service aces. After taking the second set 25-17, Brockport pushed late in the final two frames before falling 3-1.
On Saturday, the Golden Eagles showed remarkable resilience at Russell Sage, mounting an impressive comeback after dropping the opening two sets. Brockport found its offensive groove, hitting .270 in the fourth frame to push the match to a decisive fifth set. Butcher paced the offense with 12 kills on a sharp .360 hitting clip, while

Maddy Howell posted nine kills and four total blocks at the net. Despite five Golden Eagles recording eight or more digs and Jewett dishing out another 26 assists, Russell Sage managed to edge out the fifth set 17-15 to take the match 3-2.
Scouting Elmira
The Soaring Eagles head into Friday night's contest at 1-12 overall and 0-3 in Empire 8 action, most recently suffering a 3-0 defeat against Keuka. Brockport has established strong command in the head-to-head series, holding a three-game winning streak over Elmira and remaining undefeated against the Soaring Eagles since joining the Empire 8 Conference.
Scouting Keuka
The Wolves enter the weekend standing at 9-9 overall with a 2-1 record in league play, coming off a 3-0 sweep over Elmira. Keuka is set to face SUNY Geneseo on Friday before welcoming Brockport on Saturday afternoon. The Green and Gold bring a dominant track record into Saturday's clash, who have won five consecutive meetings against Keuka dating back to 2014—with every single victory coming in straight-set 3-0 sweeps.
