Kansas City, MO – On December 5
th, United Soccer Coaches announced the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's All-American selections for the 2024 season.
Jaylah Cossin was named 1
st-Team All-American for the Golden Eagles, the first in program history.
Becoming an All-American for the first time in her career, Cossin adds to an incredible 3-year run of accolades. Over the last few seasons, she has earned 1
st-Team All-Conference as player in the North Atlantic Conference (2022 – Cazenovia), 2
nd-Team in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (2023 – Brockport), and 1
st-Team in the Empire 8 Conference (2024 – Brockport). To go with three straight All-Conference nods, Jaylah has also earned recognition as the 2024 Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year and she is a 2-time United Soccer Coaches 1
st-Team All-Region selection (2023 & 2024).
In 2024 she led the Golden Eagles with 11 goals (1st in the conference), eight assists (4th best in the conference), and 30 points (1st in the conference) with a total of 64 shots and 40 on goal (2nd in the conference with a 3.56 avg/G). Cossin was a heavy contributor to the team earning its at large bid into the NCAA Tournament, the second NCAA appearance in program history. Totaling 29 points (11 G, 7 A) in 2023, Jaylah has racked up 22 goals, 15 assists, and 59 points in two seasons at Brockport. She is tied for 13
th all-time in career points, ranks 13
th all-time in goals, and is tied for 10
th all-time in assists.
To go with her incredible production in her two years with the Golden Eagles, she did so the year prior while playing at Cazenovia as well. On the way to earning 1
st-Team All-NAC in 2022, Cossin tallied 20 points on seven goals and six assists for the Wildcats. In 2021 she had five goals and three assists for 13 more points. In total across those four years of NCAA soccer,
Jaylah Cossin now has a career line of 34 goals, 24 assists, and 92 points.
Cossin helped lead the 2024 Golden Eagles to a historical season, which concluded with a 1
st Round loss to Wesleyan, 4-1, in the NCAA Tournament. Brockport finished the season 15-2-2 overall and 10-1 in Empire 8 play. Brockport got off to its best start in program history, remaining undefeated through 10 games at 9-0-1 without allowing a single goal. With 15 clean sheets on the season, the 2024 team broke the single season shutout record of 13 (1995 & 2023). Brockport also set a new record for most shots in season (419) and it was just the fifth time in program history the squad reached 15 wins.

Lyndsey Miller as the E8 Defensive Player of the Year, and saw Brockport earn Coaching Staff of the Year (
Mike Idland &
Sydnee Smith). Brockport had three All-Region selections:
