Brockport, NY- On Tuesday, December 31^st, the Empire 8 conference named Stephanie Jean-Baptiste and Peyton Maneri the Women's Basketball Co-Player and Rookie of the Week.
 
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste secured her third Empire 8 Player of the Week award following an excellent performance at the Mauro Panaggio Tournament in Daytona, FL. Across two games in Daytona, SJB averaged 24.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game on 54.3% shooting. Her best outing came against Plattsburgh, exploding for 32 points, five rebounds, and four steals.
 
Peyton Maneri earned her second Empire 8 Rookie of the Week honor following an excellent outing in Brockport's 99-53 win over William Smith. Maneri filled up the stat sheet with 17 points, seven steals, and a career-high nine assists in an all-around effort.
 
The Golden Eagles currently sit at 7-2 overall and will return to action on Tuesday, January 7^th at 5:30 p.m. at Utica.
