Brockport, NY – Megan Gerber was announced this week's E8 Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week after strong outings against Houghton and SUNY Poly in Brockport's 2-0 week.

On Wednesday, the squad hosted Houghton and came out with the 4-0 shutout. Gerber recorded one goal to contribute to the win while also adding two shots, with one on goal. 

The Golden Eagles had a massive 9-0 shutout over SUNY Poly on Saturday, where Gerber recorded a hat trick with three goals, adding on with an assist, in just 33 minutes on the field. She also put up four shots to help Brockport set a new single-game record for shots (55). Gerber's hat-trick effort was the first since Amelia Breton's against Elmira in 2024. 

Gerber is currently tied for first in goals for the 2025 season with five and is second in points with 11. She has a total of 22 shots on the season with 13 shots on goal. The Buffalo, NY, native has already surpassed her 2024 totals in goals (4) and matched her total in assists.    

Up Next – The Green and Gold look to continue their undefeated conference run next Wednesday, October 8^th, where they will host Nazareth University for a 4 pm start. On Saturday, October 11^th, the team will head to Rochester to face St. John Fisher beginning at 1 pm.
