BROCKPORT, NY - On Wednesday, November 12th, the Empire 8 Conference announced its selections for the 2025 Women's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team.
Caitlin Nelson,
Amelia Breton, and
Diane Lange represented the Golden Eagles on the All-Tournament team.
Caitlin Nelson secured her place on the All-Tournament Team with a clutch performance in the semifinals. Nelson netted the Golden Eagles' lone goal, a decisive strike that secured the 1-0 victory over Hartwick and advanced Brockport to the Championship Final. She played the entire 90 minutes in the semifinal match, totaling 7 shots and a combined 267 minutes played throughout the entire tournament.
Amelia Breton proved to be a critical offensive force, earning her selection after an explosive postseason showing that included 2 goals. Breton tallied 13 shots across the tournament in a combined 222 minutes of tournament action, including a rigorous 89 minutes in the semifinal victory against Hartwick, and 87 minutes in the hard-fought overtime battle against St. John Fisher in the Championship.
Diane Lange rounds out the All-Tournament team selections for the Golden Eagles, providing essential energy and vision to the attack. Lange recorded an assist and two shots in a combined 221 minutes in postseason play. Her lightning speed in pushing the ball up the field created multiple corner kicks and generated several crucial scoring opportunities, which were vital to the Golden Eagles' success throughout their tournament run.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2025 season with an impressive 12-2-4 overall record, claiming the Empire 8 Regular Season title for the second consecutive season. Brockport completed conference play with an undefeated 10-0-1 record, marking only the second time in program history (2006) that the team has finished conference action without a loss.
